What we offer

Private and semi-private eco-luxe bungalows.
Each include hot showers, air conditioning, tv, mosquito net and a private patio with hammock and seating.

Chef prepared meals, made with local, fresh ingredients.
We serve farm-to-table food, prepared with eggs from our chickens and vegetables from our garden. We are committed to serving fresh, local, healthy and delicious meals. Dietary preferences can be accommodated for an additional cost.

Yoga Shala
Our yoga shala is an elevated, open-air structure looking in to the treetops of the surrounding jungle. We provide 20 yoga mats, 16 cushions, 10 meditation chairs, alter and blocks.

Private Pool
Our pool area equipped with lounge chairs, a waterfall, swim-up bar, and an outdoor shower to cool off and chill out.

We can accommodate up 19-20 people per retreat. We have a mix private and semi-private eco-luxe bungalows.
We can hold 10 if only private rooms are chosen, 16 including daybeds in some of the living rooms.

Our chef is committed to serving fresh, healthy and delicious meals. We can accommodate dietary preferences and restrictions for a small fee. We make everything from scratch to ensure the freshest quality possible. Our menu is farm-to-table with eggs from our chickens and vegetables from our garden.
We provide 3 meals per day, with a variety of healthy snacks available for purchase.

Playa Grande is the nearest beach, and it is about 10 minutes walking from the Sol Sanctuary Center.

The closest medical center is ‘Centro Medico Huacas’ which is an urgent care clinic open 24/7. It is a 15 minute drive from Sol Sanctuary.

The nearest airport is Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport. It is about a 90 minute drive and we can arrange for safe and reliable transportation.

although Sol is very safe and we have 24/7 security, sometimes life happens and we don’t want you to lose your favourite items
your warmest sweaters and pants (with our warm, tropical climate- they will be collecting dust in your suitcase ;) )
shampoo, conditioner and soap
Sol Sanctuary will provide you with biodegrable, locally made products. We recycle our water and need to ensure the products used keep our water clean
towels
we’ve got you covered! we provide you with both shower towels and Sand Cloud Turkish towels for the pool/beach

Costa Rica is generally very safe. As an extra precaution, we do have 24/7 security on site and a safe where we can store any valuables during your stay here.
Like any trip, we recommend purchasing travel insurance before coming to ensure you’re covered in case anything were to happen.

Yes, we have a fully stocked First Aid Kit that is available for any emergencies.

Yes, we provide 20 yoga mats, 16 cushions, 10 meditation chairs and some blocks.

Upon check-in, we provide all guests with 100% cotton Turkish towels, which also work great as an extra blanket if needed.

Yes, bring lots of bus repellent. We are located in a tropical jungle, so we do share this land with some bugs.

Yes, the water is safe to drink from the tap. We provide alkaline kangen water daily as well.

Yes, the showers have hot and cold water.
